CK Construction provides civil engineering services to homeowners, developers and commercial clients across Redditch, Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire. From single-plot residential foundations right through to drainage and access works for multi-unit developments, we have the plant, the ticketed operators and the project management experience to handle it.
Services we deliver
Foundations and groundworks
Strip, raft, pile and trench-fill foundations to structural engineer design. We work with challenging ground conditions including clay, sloping sites and infill plots, and we handle NHBC and LABC inspections as part of the build.
Drainage and utilities
Foul and surface water drainage, soakaways, attenuation systems and connections to mains sewer. Electric, gas, water and telecoms ducting and connections to the plot boundary.
Structural works
Steel beams, RSJs, load-bearing wall removals and structural repairs. Every job includes structural engineer sign-off and Building Regulations approval where required.
Retaining walls and earthworks
Reinforced concrete and blockwork retaining structures for sloping sites across the West Midlands. We handle cut and fill, muck-away, and importing engineered fill where required.
Site access, roads and hard-standings
Access roads, driveways, hard-standings for site compounds and estate roads for small developments, built to adoptable or private standards as required.
Working with developers
Because we can package civil engineering with the subsequent build in a single contract, developers benefit from a smoother handover between the groundworks phase and the superstructure. There is no sub-contractor gap where responsibility for setting-out drifts between parties.
